Our Curriculum
In Tulla Preschool we want to develop lively and enquiring minds. We want your child to learn to share, to express themselves, to learn structure and routine, to learn respect for others, to help with transition to big school and to be independent.
The children that attend Tulla Preschool we hope will develop a natural love of exploring and thinking, make new friends, learn manners and healthy eating information. We love to see children’s personalities and individuality shine. All this is achieved through free play, circle time, music and movement, arts and crafts, outdoor play, book time, structured activities, puzzles, nature walks and our learning themes.
Our themes include holidays such as Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Patricks day etc, seasons, weather, back to school, healthy eating, family, culture, opposites, under the sea, transport, the circus (to name a few). Each week a detailed plan is available for all parents to view. Our medium and long term plans are also on file for parents.
We carry out monthly observations on the children to ensure they are developing and the curriculum is keeping them challenged. All activities planned are age appropriate but as all children are different we do the observations to ensure each individual child is learning and developing in Tulla Preschool.
